Proposal for More Flexible Exception Handling in Recurring Bookings

Currently, the Provider setting “Holidays” has been mentioned as a way to account for public holidays and irregular closure days. While this is helpful at a global level, would it be possible to introduce a more flexible solution directly within the booking interface?
Specifically, it would be valuable to expand the booking window by adding an additional option alongside the existing “Repeat” function — for example, an “Except” option. This would allow users to define individual exclusion dates or blocked periods within a recurring booking series (e.g., public holidays, special closure days, maintenance periods, etc.).
Such a feature could offer greater flexibility, particularly when managing resource-specific availability, and would reduce manual adjustments to recurring bookings.
