Improved feature: Customizable charges and invoice export

We have updated the export functionality for Charges and Invoices to provide more control over your data. We’ve replaced the separate "Export to Excel" and "Export to CSV" buttons in Admin > Billing > Charges with a single, unified Export action. A similar update has been applied to Admin > Billing > Invoiced, allowing you to customize your exports there as well.

What’s new?

When you click the Export button, a configuration dialog will now appear with the following options:

  • Column selection: All columns are included by default. You can exclude specific columns by dragging them to the left table.
  • Custom ordering: You can change the order of columns via drag-and-drop to match your internal reporting templates.
  • File format: For Charges, you can select your preferred format (Excel or CSV) directly within the dialog.
  • Invoice summaries: For invoice exports, a new option allows you to choose whether to include or exclude invoice summary information.

Saved preferences

To streamline your workflow, the system now saves your custom export settings per user. Your selected columns and preferred order will be remembered for your next session. If you need to return to the original layout, use the Reset option located within the dialog.

Summary of changes

  • Consolidated menu: One "Export" button instead of two.
  • Flexible layouts: No more manually deleting or moving columns in Excel after the export.
  • Persistent settings: Your configuration stays how you left it.
