It is not possible to change the class of a resource.
(Note: The resource class "Scheduled (Add-on)" will soon be removed. Scheduled resources can also function as add-ons. The advantage of using a scheduled resource as an add-on, rather than a resource of class "Scheduled (Add-on)", is that restrictions and pricing rules can be applied to scheduled resources, whereas they cannot be applied to resources of type "Scheduled (Add-on)".)
