Read-only access to booking details for specific users
Hello,
I am a Provider Admin and I would like to give a specific group of users read-only access to the bookings of one resource.
These users should be able to:
- see all bookings for the resource;
- view the booking details, including the information entered in the booking form;
but they should not be able to create, edit, cancel or delete bookings, nor manage the resource.
I would also like to keep the booking details hidden from regular users, so changing the general visibility/privacy settings of the resource would not be suitable.
Is there a way to configure this kind of read-only booking access for selected users or a group in OpenIRIS?

Thank you for reaching out.
This is not directly supported by default permission roles. If I understand correctly, you would like to grant a specific subgroup of regular users (users without admin rights) view-only access to full booking details for a specific resource, while keeping these details hidden from all other regular users.
Here are two potential workarounds you can use:

Custom iCal feed:
You can create a custom iCal feed by navigating to Admin > Bookings > Public Views. Once generated, you can share this feed link exclusively with the specific user group that needs insight into the resource's bookings. -
Dedicated provider:
Alternatively, you can create a separate provider and restrict access so only that user group has access to it. Users added to this provider can view the resource and its bookings, while users outside the group will not see the resource at all.
